Tennessee State Director



Mr. Carl Creasman entered the field of education in 1976, following a successful career as an electrical engineer in the private sector.  Mr. Creasman has been actively involved in the educational community throughout his career in education, conducting many in-service training sessions in the area of Computer use, application and care.

During his educational career, Mr. Creasman was active on the local, state and national level as a SkillsUSA Advisor.  Mr. Creasman was twice selected as Tennessee SkillsUSA Advisor of the Year and his students achieved success in many areas of SkillsUSA competition during his teaching career.

Following retirement from the McMinn County School System, Mr. Creasman became a technical Advisor to SkillsUSA Tennessee Secondary and conducts Parliamentary Procedure seminars. Mr. Creasman is a licensed Parliamentarian, with membership in the Tennessee Association of Parliamentarians and the National association of Parliamentarians.

Creasman became the initial SkillsUSA Tennessee PostSecondary State Director in 2004-2005.  During his 6 years as State Director, Creasman has seen the PostSecondary membership in Tennessee grow from an initial membership of 220 to the 2009-2010 membership of 12537. 

Mr. Creasman is married to Roberta Lamkin Creasman who is a retired kindergarten teacher from Riceville Elementary School in the McMinn County School System.  They are the proud parents of two (2) children and grandparents of eight (8) grandchildren.
